Meetings:

The SR 710 Terminus Task Force meetings are the central forum where regional leaders, community advocates, and subject matter experts come together to examine the future of the SR 710 stub. These bi-monthly meetings are designed to foster transparent dialogue, share technical data, evaluate planning scenarios, and elevate community voices in a collaborative, solutions-oriented environment. Meetings are open to the public and include updates from participating jurisdictions, reviews of transportation and land use concepts, and feedback from stakeholders representing housing, environmental justice, workforce development, and mobility interests. Each meeting builds on prior discussions and informs the development of final recommendations for the Legislature. Caltrans provides meeting logistics and facilitation support, ensuring broad accessibility and documentation of all proceedings.

Site Tour Highlights

The December 2024 guided tour offered Task Force members and agency representatives a first-hand look at the SR 710 stub corridor. The tour focused on critical issues such as traffic bottlenecks, pedestrian safety challenges, limited transit access, and underutilized parcels. Participants discussed opportunities for corridor reconnection, green space creation, and multimodal improvements. Input from this tour helped shape early-stage concepts and informed subsequent discussions on feasibility, equity, and environmental impacts.
